The construction of passenger railways brings neighborhoods closer together. From Paris to Sydney, the 15 or 30-minute City concepts take mobility and urban planning to a pivotal role in the quality of life of their population. As technology and productivity increase, our time becomes more valuable.

Reducing transit time is a global gain for society, especially when achieved along a mobility axis where the outskirts and suburbs of cities are connected to points of interest (airports, bus stations, city center). When a distant neighborhood is connected by a fast railway, this mobility hub enhances the value of the surrounding area.

Following these premises, for nearly 5 years OTMZA LABS has been developing the most modern solution for Brazil's first private railway STOD, the Central Plateau Express railway. It connects Luziânia/GO to Brasília/DF on a 64 km double-track electrified GoA4 railway, encompassing all ESG premises.

Railway Mobility is Our Business

Railways evoke thoughts of speed, silence, and cleanliness. Reliability, comfort, and safety. We think of the past, present, and future. Nothing surpasses the efficacy of a mode of transport that has been continuously evolving for over two hundred years.

Its significance is directly proportional to its challenges and complexities. Developed countries consistently seek to improve their railway mobility networks, while developing countries continue to strive to build their own.

Challenges and opportunities are two sides of the same coin. That is why OTMZA LABS was founded in 2019 in Brasília. Following an extended period of state exclusivity in planning railway infrastructure, the private sector was authorized to plan and construct its own railways, under the terms of Law 14.273/2021. With the prerogatives of Sustainable Transport-Oriented Development (STOD) meticulously outlined in the law, we made our choice.

And we chose Mobility.
